We are seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join an exciting collaboration with a leading pharmaceutical company focused on neurodegenerative diseases. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge biomedical imaging problems, designing and implementing AI-driven solutions that contribute directly to drug discovery and development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize advanced computer vision, geometry, generative AI, and machine learning models for biomedical imaging data.
  • Implement scalable AI solutions for biomarker detection and quantification.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including AI researchers, software engineers, and pharmaceutical scientists.
  • Translate complex imaging challenges into deployable AI solutions for clinical research.
  • Ensure robustness, reproducibility, and compliance with healthcare standards.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of industry experience in computer vision, AI, or related roles.
  • Strong preference for candidates with a PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • Solid background in medical imaging (histopathology, or similar modalities in biomedical imaging).
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Strong software engineering skills (Python, C++ or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
  • Prior experience with AI system integration in healthcare or life sciences is a plus.
