Software Engineer

Role and main tasks

We are looking for a committed and business-oriented software engineer to join our high performing software engineering team! The team’s role involves the full software development life cycle, from initial planning and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will play an important role in maintaining and further enhancing our solutions, processes, and team culture.

In this role, you’ll be a key contributor in designing, building, and evolving our development, test, and production environments. You’ll collaborate closely with both engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that are robust, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient.

Tasks And Responsibilities

As a software engineer, your key responsibilities are to develop software solutions which are future proof, cost-effective, scalable and being a subject matter expert in questions related to cloud technology and solution components.

• Keep up with market/industry trends and new functionality
• Stay up to date with industry best as well as agile development and general software engineering best practice
• Support and train operations in the maintenance and operations of the solution, where the DevOps framework resulted in such responsibility.
• Document solution and best practices

Required Experience And Skills

• MSc/ BSc in Software Engineering or similar
• Technically skilled on the AWS platform
• Experienced as a developer in several of C#, Java, TypeScript or JavaScript programming languages.
• Experience in Software development methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Industry experience is meritorious.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Swedish is meritorious.
• Swedish work permit
