Manual & Functional Tester - French (B1)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our client’s testing team and ensure the quality and reliability of business-critical applications. The selected professional will play a key role in both manual and functional testing, while also contributing to the validation of code components through unit testing in JavaScript environments.

Required Skills

• Proven experience (3+ years) in QA testing, ideally within complex IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of manual and functional testing methodologies.
• Practical experience with Squash and JIRA for test management and issue tracking.
• Good understanding of unit testing frameworks, particularly Jasmin.
• Familiarity with JavaScript-based applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (B2) and at least intermediate French (B1).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and document manual and functional test cases using Squash.
• Manage test campaigns and issue tracking through JIRA.
• Perform unit testing using Jasmin in JavaScript environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers and analysts to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Participate in sprint reviews, test planning, and retrospectives to ensure product quality from early development stages.
